CannaTrack is built on a simple promise: your personal identity is never stored, never sold, and never used to target you. This policy explains exactly how we handle your data.

Who We Are

CannaTrack is a personal habit tracking application operated by CannaTrack (“we,” “us,” or “our”). You can reach us at info@habitrak.io.

What We Collect

CannaTrack is designed to collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

• Anonymous identifier: When you sign in, we create a unique anonymous ID derived from your login. We never store your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information.
• Usage data: Intake logs, session records, check-ins, stash items, and preferences you enter into the app.
• Optional profile data: Age range (5-year bands), biological sex, and US state — all optional, all stored without linking to your identity.
• Feedback: If you submit feedback, you may optionally provide a name and email. This is used solely to respond to you and is not linked to your usage data.
• Technical data: Device type and timezone, used to display times correctly and for anonymized analytics.

What We Never Collect

• Your name, email address, or real identity
• Your precise location or GPS data
• Payment information
• Data from third-party sources about you
• Any data that could identify you as an individual

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

• Provide the CannaTrack service — tracking, stats, and insights
• Generate anonymized aggregate analytics that help improve the app (minimum group size of 5 — no individual can be identified)
• Respond to feedback you submit voluntarily

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the service.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

We use the following infrastructure providers to operate the service:

• Microsoft Azure — hosting, database, and authentication
• SendGrid — transactional email (feedback responses only)

These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments. No usage data is shared with them beyond what is technically necessary to operate the service.

Social Login

You may sign in using Google or Apple. When you do, we receive only a unique identifier from that provider — not your name, email, or profile. That identifier is immediately hashed (one-way encrypted) into an anonymous ID. The original identifier is never stored.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings tab. When you do:

• All data linked to your anonymous ID is immediately and permanently deleted
• If you have been an active user for 2+ months, anonymized statistical contributions may be retained in aggregate form — these cannot be traced back to you
• This is disclosed here so you are informed, not surprised

We also automatically tier inactive accounts and purge transient data (accounts with fewer than 5 sessions or less than 2 weeks of activity) on a rolling basis.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold (contact us at info@habitrak.io)
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time, in-app
• Opt out of data sync — toggle “Keep data local only” in Settings

Children

CannaTrack is not directed at children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the service, please contact us at info@habitrak.io.

Cannabis and Legal Compliance

CannaTrack is a harm reduction and personal tracking tool. We do not facilitate the purchase or sale of cannabis or any controlled substance. Users are responsible for compliance with their local laws.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will notify users of material changes through the app. Continued use of CannaTrack after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
